WP Reader: Read /r/WritingPrompts Submissions with Ease
WP Reader, short for WritingPrompts Reader, is a free Chrome add-on developed by noahnu. Designed specifically for users who enjoy reading submissions on the popular /r/WritingPrompts subreddit, WP Reader offers a custom viewer that enhances the reading experience.
With WP Reader, users can easily navigate through multipart stories by combining them into a single flow of paragraphs. This feature eliminates the need to manually scroll through multiple submissions, allowing for a more seamless reading experience. Additionally, WP Reader provides the option to step through all submissions in a thread, making it convenient to explore different stories within a single post.
To access WP Reader, simply click "open in WP Reader" next to the name of the story's author or double-click the story itself. Once in WP Reader mode, users can utilize hotkeys for quick navigation. The left arrow key takes you to the previous story, the right arrow key takes you to the next story, and the escape key exits WP Reader mode.
The latest version of WP Reader (v06) introduces an improved layout and a new feature that allows users to double-click a top-level story to open WP Reader mode.
